The EX trike, designed and built by Nils Ferber, Sebastian Auray, Ruben Faber and Ludolf von Oldershausen. Using two 18-volt-screwdrivers as engines, the "EX" accelerates its driver up to 30 km/h! With a frame inspired by a bare skeleton complete with visible organs, the EX’s drive components are mostly constructed from modified bike parts, while the frame and unique spine-shaped joint used for steering were custom-milled on a CNC machine.
"Excentricity is defined as a deviation from what is ordinary or customary. To match this definition we couln´t just modify an existing vehicle but had to start designing something new from scratch. The result is a completely new driving concept: The driver lies headlong on his three-wheeled vehicle and accelerates the "EX" with sprawled out arms up to 30 km/h.
Eccentrically is also how the steering works: A specially developed joint tilts the back wheel and leans the driver´s weight dynamically into the curve.
The driver controls the vehicle with brake and gas handles and by tilting the back wheel with its body"

Apart from sky gardens after every 27 floors, the building will have offices, shops, a luxury hotel with 250 rooms, 300 residential apartments, and a place for exhibitions and auctions. The apartments, which are expected to be the most expensive in Dubai, will have luxuries like exclusive swimming pools, exclusive elevators and views of the beautiful coastline of Dubai. Construction was scheduled to begin in late 2009.

Solar Powered Waterfall

It is a huge solar powered waterfall standing 105m above sea level, designed by Swiss architecture firm RAFAA for 2016 Olympic Games. Named the Solar City Tower, the building is equipped with solar panels, the solar energy to pump seawater to its top, and resulting falling water spins turbines that produce energy during the night. For some occasions, the tower can transform into an urban waterfall the designer calls "a symbol for the forces of nature." RAFAA expect to fill the building with an amphitheater, auditorium, cafeteria and shops. This solar city tower even includes bungee jumping and a “glass sky walk” on the very top.

"The aim of this project is to ask how the classic concept of a landmark can be reconsidered. It is less about an expressive, iconic architectural form; rather, it is a return to content and actual, real challenges for the imminent post-oil-era. This project represents a message of a society facing the future; thus, it is the representation of an inner attitude. Our project, standing in the tradition of "a building/city as a machine", shall provide energy both to the city of Rio de Janeiro and its citizens while using natural resources."

Suave as you are, you're not too sophisticated to admit that few things trump a good BLT.

They have removed the pieces of slightly burnt toast, and replaced it with a petite silver spoon and three layers of madman-conceived delicacy:

Layer 1: A translucent, red-orange tomato geleé (think V8 meets Jell-O...an acquired taste).
Layer 2: White cream infused with slender onion rings and succulent shards of bacon.
Layer 3: A tangy chilled lettuce velouté: blended iceberg lettuce poured over cream, like chocolate syrup on a sundae.

The result? A creamy dish that couldn't be further from the experience of eating a BLT sandwich, but intriguingly enough, tastes just like one. Frou-frou sandwich—or manly dessert? You decide.

It's true that nothing beats a real slab of bacon, but if you'd prefer to try to drink your sandwich instead of eat it, this should quench your palate right.

SSC Ultimate Aero II, the new Ultimate Aero is powered by a 6.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8(with 1,350 horses), can reach a top speed of 275 mph. It aims to recapture the production car speed record that took away from Bugatti's Veyron. Its wheels are the world's first one-piece carbon-fiber units and tip the scale at just under 13 pounds. The car weighs about 2,600 pounds. There's carbon-fiber all over the Ultimate Aero II, with the exception of some aluminum bracing for added safety in the event of a crash.
