Christian Loubotuin Biarrtiz Flats

A beautiful and for once not totally over the top new shoe has released from the Christian Louboutin Men’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The Biarritz Flats come in a dark blue leather colorway and feature a white tassel and matching leather laces and contrasting stitching on the upper. The mix of a boat shoe silhouette and a loafer works well on these.

Screwdriver-powered Vehicle "EX"

The EX trike, designed and built by Nils Ferber, Sebastian Auray, Ruben Faber and Ludolf von Oldershausen. Using two 18-volt-screwdrivers as engines, the "EX" accelerates its driver up to 30 km/h! With a frame inspired by a bare skeleton complete with visible organs, the EX’s drive components are mostly constructed from modified bike parts, while the frame and unique spine-shaped joint used for steering were custom-milled on a CNC machine.
"Excentricity is defined as a deviation from what is ordinary or customary. To match this definition we couln´t just modify an existing vehicle but had to start designing something new from scratch. The result is a completely new driving concept: The driver lies headlong on his three-wheeled vehicle and accelerates the "EX" with sprawled out arms up to 30 km/h.
Eccentrically is also how the steering works: A specially developed joint tilts the back wheel and leans the driver´s weight dynamically into the curve.
The driver controls the vehicle with brake and gas handles and by tilting the back wheel with its body"

Even if we see many pic tures of the same and famil iar places, such as the streets of New York, every pic ture, if it is an art ful and cre ative photo, will still be able to reveal some new and pre vi ously undis covered aspects, col ors, and angles. Fur ther more, pho tog ra phers do their best to choose the best tim ing and location for mak ing pic tures of the cities. As the result we can see really mag nif i cent and impress ing views of the cities at night or bird’s-eye views of cities and towns.

Opera Bank- Paris

Le Royal Monceau Hotel- Paris

In Le Royal Monceau, Philippe Starck has created a classic. Two years after possibly the wildest ‘demolition party’ in history, Paris’ newest palace hotel is THE place to stay.
The location itself is a winner: Five minutes’ walk from Arc De Triomphe and Champs-Elysées. The entry to Le Royal Monceau is super-grand, from the six doormen to the first glimpse of the foyer — it feels like you’ve walked onto the movie set of Eyes Wide Shut. The luxe-chic interiors are the grandest we’ve seen but it’s somehow magically NOT over the top. It works in Paris; it really works wonderfully. The hotel’s point of difference is a serious commitment to art. It has its own gallery, Art District, with the inaugural Basquiat show, of works selected from Enrico Navarra’s collection. There’s also an art bookshop and a dedicated blog Artforbreakfast.
